Minimizing food losses in Vietnam – VLIRUOS Community Talk

Minimizing food losses is of high importance to combat hunger, raise farmer income, and improve food security in many countries over the world. The VLIR-UOS funded projects with the joined force between KU Leuven and VNUA aimed at (i) improving postharvest technology for fruits and vegetables, (ii) transforming products into foods, (iii) valorizing waste streams, (iv) extending and disseminating acquired knowledge to farmers, co-operatives, and scientists, and (v) commercializing successful technologies to local companies.

To highlight the key lessons learned from these research activities, VLIR-UOS is organising a ‘Community Talk‘ on 29 September 2021 at 11 am (CET).
