The Spring School, featuring experts from Ghent University and Antwerp University (Belgium), provided a variety of lectures lectures on selected topics: ecosystem services, choice experiment methods, consumer behavior, experimental auctions, and circular economy. Furthermore, the experts also guided QNU lecturers to perform practical exercises and research on related topics after each lecture.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/qnu.edu.vn\/Resources\/Images\/SubDomain\/HomePage\/2024\/Thang%203\/PGS.TS.%20Vu%20Thi%20Ngan.%20QNU.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Assoc. Prof. Vu Thi Ngan, the Local Coordinator of the IUC-QNU Partnership, extended a warm welcome to experts from Ghent University and Antwerp University as part of the opening ceremony<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/qnu.edu.vn\/Resources\/Images\/SubDomain\/HomePage\/2024\/Thang%203\/chuyen%20gia%20Bi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dr. Lo\u00efc De Weerdt Antwerp University (Belgium) delivered a speech at the opening ceremony<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The supply chains of fruits in Vietnam frequently encounter various risks, including supply-demand imbalances, price fluctuations, and the adverse impacts of climate change. These risks cause the substantial instability in the livelihoods of local farmers. Sub-project 5 of the IUC-QNU Program aims to improve the income of local farmers and enhance the value of the dragon fruit and jujube supply chains through establishing risk assessment and management models.
