Within the framework of the Partnership Project for University Institutional Cooperation with Quy Nhon University (the IUC-QNU Phase 1), Dr. Cao Tan Binh led the Sub-project 5 delegation on a survey missopn to explore the landscape of dragon fruit farming in Binh Thuan province from December 10 to 14, 2023.<\/p>\n

This survey was conducted in two districts, namely Ham Thuan Nam and Bac Binh, aiming to gather comprehensive information on dragon fruit production, consumption, and potential risks that farmers within the supply chain. This strategic endeavor aimed not only to understand the current dynamics of dragon fruit farming but also to forecast potential challenges that farmers might encounter in the evolving agricultural landscape.<\/p>\n

Throughout the process of conducting surveys in these localities, the delegation found unwavering support from local officials and residents alike. This collaborative spirit not only facilitated a seamless exchange of knowledge but also engendered an environment conducive to ensuring the collection of accurate, nuanced, and contextually relevant data.<\/p>\n

The success of this survey is substantiated by the active engagement of the community, with 235 respondents in Ham Thuan Nam district and 225 respondents in Bac Binh district actively participating. These respondents provided invaluable insights that now stand as a cornerstone for future decision-making processes and strategic planning. The wealth of information gathered is not merely a statistical compilation but a rich tapestry that paints a vivid picture of the challenges and opportunities within the dragon fruit industry.<\/p>\n
