The working visit of Dr. Dao Nhat Minh, a member of Sub-project 2 at Utrecht University – Netherlands, and KU Leuven – Belgium

From August 27th to September 1st, 2023, Dr. Dao Nhat Minh attended the “Advance Survey Design” course at Utrecht University. This intensive course equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of survey design and the essential skills required to conduct effective surveys for Sub-project 2.

After completing the course, Dr. Minh went to Belgium from September 1st, 2023 to September 7th, 2023 to have a short discussion with Prof. Dr. Cecil Meeusen from Centre for Sociology Research – KU Leuven. Their discussion focused on pertinent issues related to surveying, such as sampling techniques and the utilization of survey data for academic writing, specifically for Scopus-indexed publications. This insightful conversation deepened Dr. Dao Nhat Minh’s understanding of the subject matter and will undoubtedly prove beneficial for Sub-project 2.

In addition to academic activities, Dr. Dao Nhat Minh participated in a local festival in Leuven on September 4th, 2023. This experience allowed him to immerse himself in local culture and traditions, providing a well-rounded and enriching experience during his stay in Belgium.
