Spring School 2024 on Quantitative Research Methods in Agricultural Economics

Date: March 25 – 29, 2024 (5 Days, 6 hours/day)
Venue: Quy Nhon University

1. Objective: This spring school aims to provide an introduction to fundamental knowledge and quantitative research methods in the field of agricultural economics. The focus will be particularly on topics such as circular economy, ecosystem services, and the research method of Discrete Choice Experiments—a method used to measure Willingness-to-Pay. Additionally, the program covers consumer behavior and marketing analytics. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their research capabilities, teamwork skills, and presentation abilities through this school.

2. Participants expected to:
• Be a QNU lecturer
• Have the desire and ability to allocate time for attending lectures and completing assignments.
• Be capable of understanding lectures in English and actively participating in discussions.
• Possess basic knowledge of economics, preferably in agricultural economics or quantitative research methods.
• Have the ability to work in teams.
• Receive an attendance certificate signed by the Rector of Quy Nhon University upon successful completion.
