QNU Welcomes Ambassador of Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam

ICT – On the afternoon of March 23, Quy Nhon University (QNU) proudly welcomed H.E. Mr. Karl Van den Bossche – Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam, Mr. Bart Verheyen – Chairman of the Association of the Kingdom of Belgium – Luxembourgh in Vietnam (Beluxcham) together with a delegation of senior leaders and Belgian enterprises to the University on their business trip to a conference on investment promotion for Binh Dinh-based Belgian enterprises.

At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Ngoc My – Rector of QNU expressed his pleasure at welcoming H.E. Mr. Karl Van den Bossche – Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam and the high-ranking delegation of the Belgian Association – Luxembourgh in Vietnam (Beluxcham) and Belgian business people to visit QNU, saying that QNU was one of the leading universities in the South Central region and the Central Highlands and therefore, promoting international cooperation was one of the activities that QNU always focuses on. He revealed that QNU had been implementing many international cooperative projects with Asian and European countries, including the IUC program, which was the most extensive cooperation program between QNU and some of Belgium’s major university in order to improve its capacity and make the most effective contribution to the sustainable development on the basis of Binh Dinh province’s knowledge economy.

H.E. Mr. Karl Van den Bossche highly appreciated the relationship between QNU and some Belgian universities and expressed the hope that the two parties would continue to promote cooperation in the near future. After the meeting, H.E. Mr. Karl Van den Bossche and the Belgian delegation visited QNU’s practice room, laboratory, car workshop and campus.
